2912cc, 10.6 to 1 comp ratio, works 176 cam, works alloy head, triple Weber manifolds with 45 DCOE carburettors, full works remote oil filter, oil cooler, high volume oil pump, alloy sump with windage tray, forged pistons, flywheel, competition clutch.
Suspension/brakes/gearbox
Competition bump stops front and rear, Watts Link, tramp rods, Koni shock absorbers, 4-wheel disc brakes with twin boosters and master cylinder, high ratio steering box with alloy casing, alloy idler, alloy genuine ex-works straight cut/close ratio tulip box with competition overdrive operating on 2nd 3rd and 4th gears.
This car is built to full works specification by Simon Young, with many genuine works components, including high side exhaust (1965).
All works Healey’s were based on the BN7 body shell rather than the far more numerous BT7, until the introduction of the wind-up window BJ series.
The build for this car began in 1995 and was completed in 2005, since then it has competed in a number of club motor sport events.
