Rally History

Purchased by Ford Falcon preparation expert Ken Harper in  1991, converted to RHD and prepared for the first Targa Tasmania in 1992 with his son Lee navigating.

Numerous rallies followed on both tarmac & dirt, including the 1995 Ampol Aound Australia Rally which he finished 3rd  outright in the trial section.

A log book full of rallies continued including BP rallies, Bordeaux’s, Forest Classics & in 2003 another long one, the Redex rerun. The next years were full of HRA rallies, Forest classics, which he won outright in 2007.

Recent History

Michael Arundel purchased the car from Ken Harper in 2008 and, after a bit of a freshen up, he and his brother Peter entered their first dirt rally, the 7,200 km Red Centre to Gold Coast Trial.

The car was perfect for the long distance events and lapped up the kilometres in comfort and with a lot of fun.

Entries in the Classic Outback Trials of 2009, 2010, 2012, 2016 and 2018 followed with the best result 6th outright.
